about me
Music has been a big part of my life since I was four years old, and throughout the past thirteen years I have taken up piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, and singing. Before moving to the Bay Area in 2017, I lived in Orange County where I played in a kids rock band for four years. Over time, I went from being the keyboardist to being the lead singer as well. The band was called the Monday Nite Band and we played in public dozens of times including the Orange County Fair, the Pacific Asian Festival, and some local schools as well. I began writing my own music and songs when I was eleven, and during the past few years I have found myself writing more and more. I frequently share my songs and play covers at the Sweetwater Music Hall’s open mic nights, and along with this I was invited to share them at the Throckmorton Theater in 2018. For the past two years I have had the pleasure to be a part of the Marin IJ Lobby Lounge showcase and to be the opening act for the Mountain Play as well. Performing in this community has become a big part of my life recently and I think it is important to give back, so as often as I can I volunteer for an organization called LITA (Love is the Answer). I am part of their Bridge the Gap through Music program, where I go to local assisted-living facilities or hospices and play music for the residents there. I am honored to say that I am a part of a similar organization called Bread and Roses as well. For the past few months I have been playing in a band called, Natalia Betzler & 102 Keys, and we have been performing and recreating my original songs. I love music and I am so glad that I have been able to create it myself and to have it in my life.
